Terms of Service
Effective from: 28.03.2026
1. General Provisions
These terms of service govern the use of services provided by Polywerk3D OÜ (registry code: 14611061), hereinafter "Polywerk3D" or "service provider". By ordering services, you agree to these terms.
Polywerk3D provides 3D modeling, visualization, animation, and 3D printing services to both private and business clients.
2. Services
Polywerk3D offers the following services:
- 3D modeling and design
- Product visualizations and renders
- 3D animations
- 3D printing (FDM, SLA)
- Prototype manufacturing
- Consultation and technical advisory
Specific service descriptions, prices, and deadlines are agreed upon individually for each project.
3. Placing Orders
To place an order, contact us via the contact form, email, or phone. An order is considered confirmed after acceptance of our quotation and, if required, receipt of advance payment.
When placing an order, please provide:
- Project description or technical brief
- Visual materials (drawings, images, 3D models)
- Desired deadline
- Special requirements for materials or finishing
4. Prices and Payments
Service prices are determined individually based on project complexity, volume, and deadline. All prices include VAT (24%) unless otherwise stated.
Payment terms:
- Advance payment: 30-50% of project cost (depending on volume)
- Final payment: before delivery of completed work
- Payment deadline: 14 days from invoice date (for business clients)
We accept payments via bank transfer and cash on-site. Payment details are provided on the invoice.
5. Right of Withdrawal
For distance contracts (orders placed via website, email, or phone), the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.
Exception: The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the client's individual specifications (EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)), including items printed from the client's 3D model and custom-designed 3D works. As each 3D-printed product is manufactured based on a specific order, it constitutes a custom-made product.
6. Deadlines and Delivery
Deadlines are agreed upon separately for each project. The deadline begins after order confirmation and receipt of necessary materials.
We reserve the right to extend the deadline if the client does not provide necessary materials on time or if the project scope changes.
Estimated timelines:
- Small 3D prints: 1-3 business days
- Medium projects: 3-7 business days
- Large and complex projects: by agreement
7. Intellectual Property
Copyright to source materials provided by the client remains with the client. Copyright to work created by Polywerk3D transfers to the client after full payment.
Polywerk3D reserves the right to use completed works in its portfolio and marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed.
The client confirms that they have the right to use all submitted materials and that they do not infringe on third-party rights.
8. Claims and Product Conformity
In accordance with EU consumer protection law, the consumer has the right to submit claims for product non-conformity with contract terms within 2 years from the date of delivery.
Non-conformity with contract terms includes:
- Manufacturing defects (layer layer separation, dimensional deviations, wrong material)
- Non-conformity with order description
- Missing or incorrectly executed post-processing
Material properties: 3D-printed products are made from plastic (PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.) or resin, which have natural properties and limitations. The following are normal material characteristics, not defects:
- PLA deformation at elevated temperatures (above 55°C)
- Color change of material due to prolonged UV exposure
- Dimensional changes caused by moisture
- Normal wear and tear during regular use

9. Order Cancellation
Order cancellation terms:
- Before work begins: full refund of advance payment
- During work: payment for work completed
- Completed work: return is not possible
Custom-made products (made according to client's specifications) are not subject to return, except in cases of non-conformity with contract terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
Polywerk3D is liable for direct damages caused by our intentional or gross negligence. Liability is limited to the order value.
We are not liable for indirect damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruptions.
11. Force Majeure
The parties are released from liability for non-performance of obligations if caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, warfare, strikes, pandemics, or other circumstances that could not be foreseen or prevented.
12. Dispute Resolution
All disputes shall be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be resolved in Harju County Court under the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
Consumers have the right to contact the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (www.ttja.ee) or use out-of-court dispute resolution options (EU dispute resolution platform).
13. Changes to Terms
Polywerk3D reserves the right to modify these terms. Changes take effect upon publication on the website. Ongoing orders are subject to the terms in effect at the time of ordering.
